About The Project

14 Month Duration

The idea behind the game is to be a light-hearted way to introduce people to the trials and tribulations of living with a psychological disorder.  We're hoping to inspire google searches, and frank conversations just as much as we're hoping to inspire laughter and comeraderie.  Anyone can have issues, and issues should be taken seriously, but not necessarily gravely.  WGI strives to be a gateway to deeper understanding.

My Role

After successfully pitching the idea, my role became that of a combination beween Narrative Designer and Content Expert.  My primary role was to ensure that the tone and diction of the text remained fun, but respectful and informative to the topic.  I spent much of my time vetting potential mechanics for thematic appropriateness and writing/editing game text and promotional materials.  All three team members took part in playtesting and balancing We've Got Issues.
